Frequently Asked Questions

Does Dr. Kanani accept my insurance plan?

Dr. Kanani is designated as an out-of-network provider with all commercial insurance carriers.

If I am out of your network can you still see me?

Yes. Many patients remain with our practice despite being out-of-network given the consistent high-quality care and service that we provide.

Payment is expected at the time of visit. As a courtesy, the office can submit a claim to your insurance on your behalf which may reimburse a portion of your visit’s fees.

Generally healthy patients find that with a high-deductible health plan and a tax-advantaged account, like an HSA or FSA, their annual out-of-pocket costs are comparable to seeing an in-network provider.

At which hospital does Dr. Kanani have privileges?

Dr. Kanani is on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
